Privacy Policy

In plain language: what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and your rights. Read this together with the KVKK Notice.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers personal data processed through the ParaXtre mobile app and website. The data controller is ParaXtre.

2. What We Collect

  • Account data: name (optional), email, hashed password, language and theme preference.
  • Financial tracking content: income/expense, categories, subscriptions, installments, notes and currency you enter. For tracking only.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/app version, session and error logs.
  • Push token: so we can send reminders.
  • Analytics data: only with your explicit consent, website measurement.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data to provide the service, deliver reminders, manage shared workspaces, ensure security, improve the service and meet legal obligations. The detailed purposes and legal grounds are in the KVKK Notice.

4. On-Device Processing

Receipt, invoice and statement scanning runs on your device. Images never leave your device; only the extracted text you confirm is sent to our server. Low-confidence fields are left blank rather than invented, and every item lands on a confirmation screen.

5. No Bank Integration

ParaXtre is a tracking and reminder app; it does not connect to your bank accounts, does not manage balances and never asks for your banking credentials. All financial content is based on your manual entry.

6. Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. It is shared only with providers necessary to deliver the service: Apple (authentication, notifications, App Store), our cloud hosting providers, error monitoring (Sentry), payment providers (App Store and iyzico), and — with your explicit consent — analytics providers (Google Analytics, Plausible).

7. Cross-Border Transfers

As some providers are abroad, your data may be transferred internationally under KVKK Art. 9, based on your explicit consent and/or appropriate safeguards. Details are in the relevant section of the KVKK Notice.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required for session and security; no consent needed.
  • Measurement: Google Analytics runs only with your explicit consent; no measurement tags load before you consent.
  • Plausible: privacy-focused statistics that use no cookies and no personal data.
  • You can change your cookie choices any time via the consent banner on the website.

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit (TLS), strong password hashing (argon2), role-based access control and workspace-level data isolation. No system is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our safeguards.

10. Retention and Deletion

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purpose. You can delete your account from within the app; on deletion, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised within a reasonable time. Records under a legal retention obligation are kept for the relevant period.

12. Children

The service is intended for users aged 18 and over.
